Eucrypta chrysanthemifolia var. chrysanthemifolia, on the hillside above Malibu Hall, CI. Two other plants worth noting appear here, to the left of the Eucrypta is Dichelostemma capitatus, the flower buds are present, but it appears the leaves have been cropped by some browser. The finely divided leaves emerging from below the Eucrypta belong to a seedling of Leptosyne gigantea. Note also the scorched wood in the lower left corner, a remnant of an earlier fire (7 March 2013).
