A small annual, native to southern California and Baja California.

CI

This little yellow wildflower is found in shaded areas, often in association with plants with similar mesic requirements (e.g., Dodecatheon, Collinsia, Plantego).  Around CI is has only been observed on the hillside to the south of University Glen and Malibu Hall.  In wet years, it can be quite abundant.
