A tall, spindly perennial herb, favoring disturbed or open habitats. A Summer bloomer.
CI
Large, bushy plants of this species are common in disturbed areas, such as habitats along paths and bordering landscaped areas. Blooms in Summer, after most other native plants have ceased activity.
