In a fashion similar to Eucrypta, this species sprawls along the ground.;

This species is found widely on the north facing slope of ridge to the south of University Glen, the Town Center and Malibu Hall. The rock face and slope directly behind Malibu Hall, CI, is an excellent site to observe this flower without even stepping off the pathway. It is much more abundant and the plants are more expansive in wet years.
